As a number of members have already written, really enjoyed Sunday's friendly gathering at Hatton. Brian's comments during the meeting about Clubs being first and foremost, about people so true and also encouraging the improving relations between Clubs, to get away from the view of some, that nothing else exists in the Classic car world except their make or model.
We might not have had the biggest number of Toyotas on display on Sunday (as those of you who were there will know, it'll take a bit to beat my travelling companion Daniel Kelly's, 200/300 cars at his 2014/6 Toyota Fests) but I can't imagine a better selection of nice cars than we had on Sunday - from Peter's Corona right up to the models for the modern Toyota Enthusiast, the GT86 and Yaris GRMN.

On reflection after leaving the AGM I really feel that we should of have vote of hands as to whether people want to go back to Billing again because it’s definitely as more going on and appeals to members that want to camp over the weekend .

Hi Bob
There is a lot of negativity about Billing as before they kicked all the clubs off, we booked dates for a couple of years and they overbooked our dates and gave them to bigger clubs . We will investigate other alternatives for next year. Malcolm.

Be interesting to find out more about a Toyota GB day next year, we would be better piggy backing on the back of that event, maybe they would consider Billing ?
Its funny how Billing changed their minds this year and made space for 100s of Landrovers !! Money talks when your in the recreation and outdoor activity business.

Well it was good to catch up with the junior Japanese marque again, hope you all enjoyed the Fairlady drive by. Thanks to Raf Evers an co. for the excellent Sunday breakfast in the "dining tent", he's getting nearer to his FEC (Full English Certification) but I'm afraid it still needs work. Not that it was lacking in any major ares but it's the finer deatails that matter as the adjudicator has high standards to maintian. All in all an excellent turnout by you guys and I know you'd all be disappointed if we didn't "invade".
I know it's nowt t'do wi me but although the venue is not bad it does lack what we had at Billing but the ball is in the car club's court now as their profits to a bit of a dip when we were excommunicated. Get negotiating guys, they know now car clubs make their money for them especially now that for the past 2 years their rip off baloon festival have been failures.
