Club members with an interest in more recent Toyotas of a more sporty, or potentially future Classic nature will find his weeks leading weekly motoring mag, Autocar interesting, cover, date 28 March. I know of least two GT86 owners in the Club, Harvey and Adam, who will enjoy the article on buying one second hand. There is a smaller similarly favourable mention on buying a used last gen, MR2 which owners Steve and I should enjoy. Autocar prefer it to the much more common Mazda MX 5, but we knew that!
Also mention that the new Auris for 2019 will include a Gazoo Racing version from Toyotas new high performance division. And finally the first full road test for the first car to be developed by that division, just arriving in the UK - the Yaris GRMN, if you believe the article and Toyota GB themselves, of the 400 only, to be built for all of Europe, all pre sold. Wee bit critical that it is based on the humble Yaris, but full of praise for the development and effort put into its engineering and performance. As a few of you know we hope to have one on our Club display at the Silverstone Classic, July 21/22.

Sounds good, I'll have to go and get a copy - it's been a long time since I bought Autocar.
The murmurs of an Auris GRMN are interesting to me, Toyota seem to have said it's not happening but there's a bit of me that's holding out some hope for it.
