A reminder that this event is now just over 4 weeks away. Sunday April 7th. Highly recommended by those of us who attended in previous years. Mark Whitfield and his team in the dealership very welcoming, with a fine variety of old Toyotas from far and wide. Upwards of 10 TEC cars already committed. Advise Mark in advance or just turn up mid morning.
Some of us from further afield, stayed last year in the adjacent Premier Inn, M6 - Jct 44 and got together for a meal and a drink on the Saturday evening. I'm travelling with Dan Kelly who is bringing his rare 1982 Cressida Diesel saloon from his Donegal Toyota collection.

Hi Denis, We've also just booked a room at the Premier Inn. It will be a bit of a trek up to Carlisle from Cardiff but the Corolla should be up to it Hope to see you on Saturday evening. Regards John (& Babs)

Jeff, John Suggest we see if any more people staying there on the Saturday night, make contact. We can then contact each other, say a few days before and book an evening meal together on the Saturday evening if that suits. Ate at the P Inn last year - not Michelin 3 Star, that you folk are used to, but quite pleasant! With the wide geographic spread of TEC members throughout GB and Ireland,, I believe we should try to socialise together on the few opportunities we get.

Seems we will have a large turn out of TEC members. Anyone else wanting to join for the meal Sat evening at the Premier Inn, let me know tomorrow Friday 5th, so that we can add to the booking, either on this Forum or 07938 498883.
