I was looking if someone could help me out. I have a 91 Toyota pickup 22re engine. It's currently leaking coolant from the EGR cooler plate on the backside of the engine. It's causing my truck to have steam which turns into smoke out it exhaust. Has anyone else had this problem? I am trying to figure out how to fix it and how the plate leaking would cause smoke. I read online the symptoms of a leaking EGR cooler plate and that's one of them. If anyone has any advice or knows what else could cause it. The engine is newer. Thanks in advance have a good day.
