hi Scott -
Are you looking for a donor car to restore yours, or just one to restore outright?
Or to modify one, or even to banger race?

i would prefer one with an mot but i would be willing to look at others. the last estate i bought i had to get an engine for as couldnt find locate a headgasket set.
bodywork not too important as i have the means to repair.(brother has a bodyshop)
you could always sell me one of your coupes.......?

Lovely, great job.
Think I've seen it somewhere b4, autotrader/ebay??? So what happened to it? How could you let it go! Or was it an offer you couldnt refuse. Peter Hunter has one, M-reg I think.

Had to sell it which was a shame. put it on ebay and a guy from ireland bought it who had wanted one for years. Also had a mustard yellow estate the same as peter's a few years back. its now black!!! with chrome wheels.......shame. Also my old ms65 appeared on ebay last year, never a really clean car even when i had it but it was my first crown!! bought from the practical classics mag editor. Prefer the saloons shape but the coupe......thats another story....hint hint.

The blue salon looks tidy from a moderate distance. I remember i was not so impressed when i saw it close up at jae. I dislike the messy air vents on the rear saloon pillar, otherwise saloons are well cool. We'll have to see what we can do about a coupe for you....(Don't hold your breath) Would be great to see you do one up like the estate.

the fatter chrome rear bumper looks well cool on that facelift model. the black paintwork certainly offsets any chromework making a super looking motor even more fantastic. saloon 4 sale in japan

nice car apart from the wheels! and I prefer the rear lights of the early uk models (with the illumination around the cluster) how much is it up for?

It's in Nippon speak, so I havent a clue. You can find it yourself on the TEC.com links page I have provided! - under Yahoo. Never once seen a coupe up for sale on yahoo, no, really. enjoy, you can spend hours here.
are the 'portholes' on these rear lights some customisation thats been done??

I would think so. They look a bit strange! shame I didnt take a picture of the rear of my old crown at night because they do look cool. Maybe with the americans going all retro at the moment with new cars toyota may follow suit and remake the 65 series crown............
