Sam Glover , the guy who did the article did promise a mention for TEC which did not appear, ( email already on the way ) but at least he was on the whole quite complementary. Just to put things in perspective its not the Hi-ace that handles especially well, its just the others in comparison don't handle well at all! Not quite a centrefold but good for a bit of promotion for the cause.

How's this for resurrecting an old thread then !!!!! Just back from Oulton Park after a photo-shoot, arranged by Matt Jones of practical classics for a forthcoming feature on early Japanese coupes. The cars featured were my "blue 22 flatlight",a Datsun 240K Skyline and a Mitsubishi Celeste. It was interesting to see how professionals create the effects. Good bunch of guys there and the fact the Celeste had no head or brakes on it created great amusement getting towed around the various locations at the track. Follow this link for the pics www.flickr.com/photos/harvey_wade/sets/72157594489068226/Reason for it is that a friend of mine has now got the 240K Skyline and it's going up for sale. I'll have it at mine this weekend for a good look-over. It's tested but not currently taxed and doesn't look any worse than the 2007 photos. Price is £2995 or sensible offers considered. Regards, Ian.

The Skyline is now provisionally sold to a Datsun Club forum member but if anyone has a scan of the Practical Classics article that they could send to me it would be much appreciated. Regards, Ian.
