yup, had to do it one side at a time! it's turned out really well considering! second and third coats were done yesterday.
it's painted with cellulose so it all has to be rubbed down when the paint has hardened.

There always seems to be a special period shine that only cellulose paint can give. Well done, and you get big satisfaction from doing it yourself and learning something as you go along. Al

i did want to have it done for the national, but my band has a gig that day so i cant make it - it's not going to be done anytime soon unless my brother brings back the engine hoist so i can get the twin cam in!!! plus i've got all the bushes to replace as they're original!

Genuine Toyota Fender Mirrors, Painted the Shells Dark Grey Metallic to Match the rest of the plastic trim... Earning Her Stripes... Electronic Ignition On The Cheap... Suzuki SJ410 Nippondenso Dist. Internals into a 2T-G Dist. with RA61 Coil and Ignitor Assembly. It's really easy to do but I haven't tested it yet Old Skool Toyota Works 2T-G Exhaust Manifold, Rebuilt Front Strut - New KYB Gas-adjust insert, new top hat and new superpro poly bushes all round - can't get springs for a love nor money so the stock ones remain, albeit repainted This is not originally for a TA22 - Cusco ones cost a fortune, this was £35 Delivered.... its for a.... cough... cough... Mitsubishi Eclipse.... cough... cough... Fits like a glove

no, but its all essentially the same, only reason i used a suzuki one was that's what i could find at the time - suzuki, daihatsu, toyota, and even the bedford rascal all have the same electronic distributor internals - as long as its carburated, most of the 80's stuff has nippondenso dist that can be used.
