minor update so far.
purchased a bunch of weather strips, door seals, and rollers.
installed OEM window winders.
took out the drive shaft refit and put back.
replaced both front brake pads with OEM pads.
added a stebel nautilus horn with switch, to go between the new and old horn.
break apart the caster nut. cos it was jammed. replaced.
replaced the whole set of fuses.
now looking for AC pump replacement. leaking very badly.
Next thing to do
replace the extractor. too small.
replace exhaust piping. too small.
replace the exhaust muffler. too loud.
look for door panels. bare metal.
install radio. kinda quiet in car now .
service air cond. needs a good cleaning.
change rims & tires. something 15" would be nice.
window tints. hot weather.
re-wrap seats. wear n tear.
remove all non-used wiring from engine bay. messy.
re-arrange all the relays at the engine bay. messy.

Those wheels have serious offset; must be nearly the whole width of the wheel!

just got the car back from the shop.. the previous owner had tweaked the carby so that the secondary butterfly is always open! no wonder i was getting bad mileage. anyways waiting for my 'temp' seats. I need to get the original ones to rewrap I must say, these are very comfy seats. Anyone know whats the partnumber for the seat lever? or what is it called exactly? where to find? the driver side, the lever is broken. Not that I use it a lot, but its annoying.

Looks like lots of hard work has gone into that wheel hope you had a mask on, as wheel polishing is a dirty old game

Well done. I thought you would be using a lathe and some abrasives for that kind of work.
