Hi people. I'm new here, but a long time Toyota fan (Gen 6, Gen 7) currently had to exchange the 7 for an Auris T180 as it was getting too difficult to get out of the Gen 7! My "other" car is a Marlin built in 1995 from a 1980 Celica, and it needs a new exhaust. My question : Is there an exhaust header (manifold) from any other 18rg application which is not so long top to bottom, or does anyone produce a stainless steel replacement ? Attachments:

OK folks, it's now become a problem ! Attached here is a pic of the manifold, with welded (crack I guess?) and it's now very noisy. It had been gummed up and taped by the previous owner but now needs attention. So apart from my first post above, here are two questions : (1) is this the standard manifold for an 18RG (2) Anyone have one to spare, and where/how much ? Suppose I will need a new exhaust gasket as well Higher res pix available T I A dcunn(at)btinternet.com Attachments:

Hello Dave, try Bob Clark on this site , he's has a few early Celica's..... bob.clark4@btinternet.com Or you may have to look at a custom made manifold , from an exhaust specialist

Is it the cast manifold or the downpipe that you need?as the cast part rarely breaks,,looking at the picture it looks like the downpipe thats taped up, what numbers are on the cast part?and what size studs are holding the manifold to the head?i ask this as there are 2 different types of 18rg manifold, you can still get the gaskets from toyota if needed,i have 1 new manifold left if needed, but depending which one you need if any , thanks Ned

Ned, here is a pic showing the cast manifold. Seems to me that it has been welded up, it is leaking slightly around the welded area. Attachments:

Here is a second pic, it looks like a dogs breakfast as well close to the flange area...are the two welded together ? Think I need a replacement manifold, the number is on the first pic, hope it's the same as the one you have. Hope that the downpipe is not welded to the manifold - I haven't yet taken the tape off the downpipe to check it's condition Your price please, and where are you ? Rgds DC PS ....email me if you like with your details and we can talk Attachments:
