Yes, that's plan B
Have been talking again today with Ned. He has two different manifolds, one of which may suit the installation (originality is not important here as it's a one off kit car) provided I can get the correct downpipe flange for it. We're talking and exchanging pics/ideas before I launch to see him.
Nili illegitimae carborundum - or something !
Solution to be advised...Best Rgds DC

Hi Can't help with the manifold itself but if you have any welding experience it's not that hard to make one. Here's a pic of the one I've just made to fit my 4M engine It took me a couple of weeks as I wasn't in a hurry , but it's now in the car and runs fine with no blowing. I used a piece of 1/4 plate and some pre - bent curves bought off ebay and then cut and welded to fit using a Mig welder ( the wrap is to reduce under bonnet heat or try to ! ) Adam

For closure, I repeat here the post I have just made on "Spare Parts"
""Many thanks to all who have responded and tried to help.
Ned has found me a used manifold, I've now got it home and just need to remove and replace the studs on the downpipe flange so I can then build a new system onto the new downpipe.
Again, thanks to all. DC ""
