I used modified mk2 cavalier anti roll bar links, need to cut the spacer sleeve and run a die down bolt to extend the threads, or use a shorter bolt, you can pick them up on e bay for less than a tenner.

well we managed to get the water pump fitted after a bit of a mod, but now the brakes have gone bad, master cylinder we hope, its the only bit we didn't re-new, so have a rebuild kit and we are going to pull it too bits tomorrow, just hope the cylinder is not corroded inside cheers

we managed to get this sorted again over the weekend, took off the mc, all cleaned up and new rubbers fitted, inside of cylinder was mint, another bleeding session and all is good, wifey drove it today to pick up kids from school and apart from the wooly steering its gonna be a good little runaround cheers

we had some issues with the brakes after the m c rebuild (due to me fitting one of the rubbers the wrong way round, doh) think weve got it sorted now, still needs a road test, but the front seats have been pulled out and repaired and refitted, also there was some damage to the nearside rear quarter, it was full of filler, but on removal of the filler it was rusty, so I chopped it out and my son made some repair sections and we welded it all back together. inner and outer chopped off inner replaced rippley rear quarter, damaged long ago as it was rusty under the filler didn't get any pics of the repair sections welded on, didn't take too much filler as we bashed it about a bit first just needs some paint, also cleaned up inside the boot and gave it a splash of black need to dig it out of its hidey hole and take it for a spin, oh and when we taxed it, 2 months later we got a new log book in the post and a refund on the road tax, happy daze cheers

Look at that proper repair job side note .....did the black paint catch fire or did you leave it for many days afterwards ?

well its been a while(again) yes Harvey it took a while to repair the quarter, still have not got paint on yet, we have tried the brakes again and we are still having problems with them locking up on the front after a mile or so, spoke to my motor factor about the rebuilt calipers but as its over 12 months since they were dione they say no comeback, nice, need to pull it to bits again to see if we can sort this out, are there any different calipers we can use on the front that just bolt on ? cheers paul.
