Guys does anyone know how to tell different crankshafts apart? Have 2 cranks in garage, one has Toyota(TEN) cast mark and another cast mark number3 at one end. The other has TEN cast mark and cast 5 G in the centre and 5 11 at the end. Not sure if they are 2TB, 2TG or 3T. Can anyone please identify them please. Thanks in anticipation.
Stu.

I will look out a 2T crank at weekend and measure, then post where to take sizes from. Do you have access to a surface table, v blocks ,and a height gauge?

I don't have any personally Harvey but I have a mate with a unit who can lend me them. Would a 2TG crank be the same throw as a 2TB?
Cheers Stu.

Both cranks are the same dimentionally between the pushrod and the twincam, I would suspect the "better" cranks,ie the ones with less surface defects, from the casting process might have been used for the 2T-G but thats only my opinion. As for the markings i have several all marked differently.
