The master cylinder might be the same bore as the RA40 and could be an alternative, toyota stamp the bore size on the casting of the cylinder, ie 13/16 " 7/8" ect, worth finding out yours, and im sure somebody with a RA 40 could let you know if its the same bore.

Hi Harvey it has got a 13/16 stamp on it, it also is a four bolt fixing not two, cheers

Another option is to use auto parts warehouses from the states, although a left hand drive master cylinder could have the pipes coming out the wrong side, it's an avenue to look into. When I had my 2.8 supra I bought parts from the states, only problem was the time getting the bits.

I will check my spare MR2 brake master cylinder, its a 4 bolt fitting and I think my AE86 is 4 bolt too, will check them out tomorrow.

It has 4 bolts, two tandem reservoirs and two sensors underneath, the only one that I can find that looks similar is for a 70s/80s hiace & landcruiser Cheers for that.

I fitted a rebuild kit from Toyota to my ta23 2 years ago kit cost over 100 euro!!!! maby the way to go is to retro fit a servo & master cylinder from a later model Celica, i fitted a st202 servo & cylinder to my Fiat 131 racing not straight forward but not that hard a job!
