Ok so here I have a dilemma. 1995 3.0 V6 camry Est. The car had a flat battery, so my son and his friend thought they would fit a fully charged battery. Used the key to open the car, put key in ignition and open the bonnet. Removed dead battery, fitted charged battery and started the car. From what I can gather this is what happened next. Engine turned off, keys in ignition. Doors closed, Go to open the door and with them taking the battery off and then back on again with the doors closed and key inside car, the doors have locked and remained locked. The bonnet is now also down and closed (as they thought the car was unlocked). So just how do I get the doors to open? Spare key was on the same keyring as they are normally in the safe, as the car has been off the road for years.

Can you break-in to the car with a coat hanger and a wedge of wood holding the door frame open a bit ?

I need to work out a plan off attack. Possibly wedge window frame out and feed in ali tubing in with hook on the end or strip of metal down passenger door. Drivers door does not have rods (I think). Other option is drill out boot lock.

Well, he got in whilst I was at work. Passenger Door handle + Lock mullered.
Not quite the way I would have tried but the keys are out, but the car can't be secured. Not that it's really an issue as the car has not been on the road for probably 7-8 years.
