Well as I have my bronze Ta22GT on the road it is now appropriate to get my white Ta22gt sorted and I can't have Bob sitting about with nothing to do. This is an original UK gt ( one of the initial 300 imported ) 12 survivors - 5 roadworthy ones. I bought the car 15 years ago to stop it being scrapped as it was unlikely to go through the Mot, and the owner was given it was going to sell the engine and scrap the rest. It was supplied new in eastbourne area in feb 1975 the same date my bronze one was registered. The first owner had it 12 months and then it was owned by a father and daughter for many years before she gave it away to a friend who i acquired it from. only 65k from new and must be one of two really low mileage surviving white ta22gt's The car is completely original and with the exclusion of removing the wing mirrors it will go back as it should. New wings , new cills , new undervalnce , replacement very very good doors , doesn't need boot or bonnet, interior is excellent.as it is under the engine compartment. All the front suspension is out for a full overhaul, not much rot , little on one fit, box section and inner strut in all its still in great shape. Watch the progress.
