Its a good job Toyota don't make heritage body shells like MG b and Mini, otherwise you wouldn't know what to do with all your spare time.

hi guys todays work cut outer sill of cut inner sill of below floor weld in new bottom of inner sill then weld new sill back on with do other side tomorrow

hi guys both outer sills on now inner sills below floor replaced and rear inner archs made good car looks a lot better now just the front finch panels to fit and a repair on the bull nose on front of sills and it can go back to owner for the body work to start

Coming on nicely Bob! Re the above, I notice you've put the sill over the arch as opposed to the other way round... which typically I've done , albeit it's only pinned not welded at the moment. what's the best/true to original way? or doesn't it really matter by the time it's had primer and paint on it?

hi mate the way you done is fine the bottom of arch was gone so made it easy for me to go in one piece the outer sill from the back edge of the door should be coverd by the rear quarter with the arch on the out side

hi guys ta22 welding all done now looks a lot more solid now enjoyed the welding but thought it would never end roll on Christmas
