Have added Jeff's carlos saint and Meirions 2t205 GT4 to the list , will notify you at the beginning of September with details , just awaiting confirmation of whether stand size will be increased further from the NEC.

We have been allocated a 5 car stand for this show today . All the newer car clubs have been placed in hall 8 , which has put us into the middle of all the japanese car clubs . If you want to show your car , the list is open , please add your name and vehicle details to this string. Cars need to be there from thursday evening through to sunday , this is the Uk's premier car show , members will receive free access to show for themselves and family for whatever days you wish to attend , any queries Malcolm 07975718146 Hi Malcolm, please add my 1974 TA27 to the list, thank you.    |

Noted - nice car.
We have yesterday had it confirmed by the NEC that our stand size is being increased to 19.6m long by 5m deep. This looks like an 8 car stand and we are on the back wall of hall 8 this year.
Will start to sort cars out at the end of this month as have quite a long list and then notify everybody - Malcolm.

I am now going to sort the cars out for display at the NEC in november with Harvey , we now have a car stand which should accommodate 8 cars , so will look to get a blend of all sorts of cars , will communicate directly with each owner to confirm attendance , so plenty of time prepare your car for the event .Malcolm.

Dear All will be communicating show details to all owners whose cars we would like to have displayed in the next day or so. Having checked the stand space and talked to the organisers we will be able to get 6 cars on as there is a concertina door behind part of our stand which we have to allow some stand space for . There is a walkway just pass the next car stand which gives access into hall 7 from hall 8 where we are based and the organisers will be making an announcement about a special event to be organised in hall 7 in the next day or so

The display for the NEC has been finalised and all the owners have been notified .
The display which will this year will be in hall 7 , with all the post 1990 clubs and the hall will be linked to hall 8 , where a special event with be held this year , with ex rally cars being timed round the perimeter of the NEC and all the cars will finish in hall 8 where they will be on display.
Our stand which will be on the back wall will comprise the following cars :-
1. Toyota starlet 1300cc 1997
2. Toyota corolla ae86 coupe 1987
3. Toyota celica st205 GT4 1994 gen 6 car -the actual car driven by Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear against the Escort Cosworth.
4 Toyota Celica Ta27 liftback 1994
5. Toyota Celica st185 GT4 1992- gen 5 car
6. Toyota Cellca ta22gt 1975- Gen 1 car
I think this represents a great display and none of these cars have been on display in previous years .
Once we receive the final details they will be sent out to all owners - come and see us at hall 7 down the ramp with all the other japanese car clubs from friday 8th -Sunday 10th November .
Dont forget we are at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon Warwickshire , based outside the main entrance a week on Sunday on September 22nd , come and catch up with us for our National day from 10am onwards all day - no charge to meet up on our display - only a concessional deal for the Motor Museum.

I have now received notification that we will be receiving final details for the displaying of cars and paperwork to access the site on the thursday for display car set up. I will let all owners who are displaying cars have the relevant paperwork before the end of the month.

A big thank you to everyone who supported the club with display cars - a great show that generated lots of interest . Also a thanks to all club members who came and supported on the stand .
A very busy weekend - saturday was heaving , I now need to recover for a day or so !!.
Will load some photos and I am sure Adam will as well.
Starting on the practical classics show in march , I will start a thread for members wishing to display cars - I have a couple already .
