DVLA First Registration - Proof of date of manufacture

I have attempted and and failed to register and imported 1980 Toyota RN40 pick up due having not provided sufficent proof of date of manufacture. The DVLA has directed me to either Toyota or a registered owners club (so here I am!). Does anyone know what I need to do to get the required letter to the DVLA, I understand that a fee would need to be paid? Incidently I don't seem to be getting anywhere with Toyota UK. Note also picture of the plate in the engine bay with OCT 80 clearly stamped on it is also not sufficent apparently. Thanks for any help

Club Treasurer Harvey does dating certificates , maybe he will see this or you cpuld send him a message via his profile , not sure but you may have to be a paid up member.

Toyota GB do them , althou it is a bit difficult to get through to the right department, i got one for mine a few years back
