Slight delay in getting things started due to a family of birds nesting in the cars battery tray, they should be gone soon looking at the size of them.

After a slight 2 years and 2 months delay, activity is resumed, started the car no problem (first time in almost 2 years) and moved it from the storage area to allow activity to resume. I made the statement at Billing that her car would be finished and roadworthy for 20 aniversary national meeting. Watch this space and i can guarantee the car will be finished, pics to follow soon.

Front end removed ready for the welding, basicly not much required ,previous patches on nearside will be redone, as not the tidiest, hopefully Gemma will continue the thread, Deadline for completion is July and im 100% certain it will be at Billing for the 20th aniversary of the TEC

Have you looked at the Goodridge flexies? I bought some for my KP62 as originals are unobtainable for that, could well be the same set.

Had thought of the braided goodridge type, however metro rear flexi pipes are just slightly longer , bought a pair off e-bay and got the ends machined to double flare, rover have the single flare ends so it should be fine now.My mate is a toolmaker and a first class machinist so im happy with the mod. They were under a tenner delivered so no hardship if they were not able to be modified

Decided to remove all running gear even although an MOT pass could have been achiveable ,as it was servicable, 20 days to Billing a bit of a tall order to complete on time, heres how it looked tonight. all welding complete now. Unable to scource screen rubbers anywhare so screens will need to stay in place, front rubber is very tired,KE20/25 series might be able to get modified but not sure

Fantastic work. I think Wade engineering will be doing a bit of overtime this next three weeks. When are they going to stop working on that wee box and start on the proper Toyota sitting beside it. Only joking, of course, Harvey! Good luck and can I have a drive in the 1000 at Billing?
