Mel How is the progress on your Celica? You must have a few more pics for us by now.Looked a good shell you have there unlike the one I'm restoring at present which is quite lightweight in places ;D

Hi all,
Due to some personal circumstances i am contemplating selling my celica project. Have 2 cars, the one seen in this thread and another complete that i intended to take a few parts from to make one. have most of the parts required to complete the project plus more. If i decide to let it go i would prefer to sell the complete project including everything i have, although i could split everything and break the cars and i'm sure everything would still go, a good car could be achieved from this project. I'd be happy to talk to anyone that is serious about wanting a project, however i have'nt even thought about what value i would put on everything as a complete sale.

I finally decided that i will sell everything as i cant get round to progressing the project and could use the space for other things.
As mentioned before, there is the silver car that is pictured in this thread, this will make a great car.
Also my other car which is complete but would be ideal for parts or possible restoration however would need lots of welding. The engine in the red car is fully lightened and balanced with a Kent Cam, Twin 40 Webbers, TRD 4 Branch Manifold and gas flowed head that was giving 112 BHP at the rear wheels, would recommend a strip and rebuild due to being stood.
Along with the 2 cars i have other parts including:
new nearside front wing pair of new sills 2 pairs of rear wheel arches n/s sill extension panel Piper 4 Branch manifild & full exhaust system weather strip set water pump track rod ends and various other new parts
there is also an extra 2T engine that is converted to 2 ltr. It has 89mm forged TRD pistons, 3T crankshaft, Kent Cam, lightened and balanced with gas flowed head. this engine is stripped due to a cracked bore. It needs a block.
I also have an extra gearbox which is a 4 speed
I am offering everything as a job lot to TEC members for a week or so at £4000, however if no takers i will either store the silver car next to the red car for another 5 years or so or maybe strip them both and sell as parts on ebay which would be a real shame but probably raise more money.

Hi, Having had no interest from club members for both my 2 ta22's, I have decided to separate the 2 cars and offer first to tec club members.
To start I am offering the Silver 1976 1600 ST shown in this thread. It comes with all the parts removed including engine & gearbox, interior and glass. Will also include new full sills and wheel arches (one side already fitted, just needs finishing). The only thing missing is the bonnet as I did not get one with the car. However, I may have one available at a later date depending on what i do with the second car. Also included is the turning frame that the car is mounted in the picture's although the wheels would be put back on the car for transportaion.
As you can see from the pictures in this thread this car will make a nice restored example, just needs someone with the time to complete it. I'm not going to put a price on the car however, we all know that it is becoming more and more difficult to find these cars and maybe the value could be more if broken for spares but this car is too good to break up and i would prefer someone to complete it.
I am inviting offers for the car and any sensible offer will be concidered.
Drop me a line if you have any queries or if you would like to arrange to view the car.
Mel.

Hi,
I must say i am surprised at how little interest there is for these cars on an enthusiasts site but there you go.
If you are needing any TA22 parts, let me know what you need and if there is enough interest i will strip the rest of the parts from the silver car and scrap the shell.
Here is my email address if you wish to contact me mel.dawson@tiscali.co.uk
