Car and photography are first class. I love the black crinkle finish on the rocker cover; like some of the Harley bike engines have.

Update on my project after 6 weeks of elbow grease, I had to stop working on the rims as my dad's car engine died and I borrowed him the celica. Installed everything back, bought a new battery and swapped out the broken muffler with a new more quieter unbranded one. ;D so happy its so quiet now. but then I can hear many things coming from under the car

2 days ago the air conditioning didnt really work. So this morning headed down to my fav mechanic and was told that the compressor died. So, I asked him to service everything and install a new compressor... looks like its going to cost me about RM 1,000.00 ~__~"

things completed since last updates were - Rims (polished by sandpaper, newspaper, autosol and a lot of elbow grease!) - front grille - window peanuts it does not rattle any more and close the door also sounds nice now. - Aircond fan (relubricate) - ignition coil (leaking, change new) - spark plugs (new old stock of golden lodges) - carburetor (tuned, but cant do much the fuel comes in irregular.. need to replace soon...) - remove alarm CPU, it was wired directly and was draining the battery. all things considered its all minor things. But now tat its back on the road there will be slightly more n more things being done. last but not least changed the cheap n useless steering to a Nardi steering. Took me 2 days of serious energy to remove the boss kit which was screwed on too tight. After remove, I sanded it down and painted it flat black.. nice ... very nice...

;D So since the last update, manage to fix the carby, didnt replace it. So now I have a spare 2T new old stock carby. from 1st gen engine. Anyone interested send me a message. The existing carby was clogged up pretty badly. Fixed the leak at the rear axle. Air cond coil leaked. Had too many holes so had to replace the original one with something after market its so rare to find the original parts now a days. Sigh. Swapped in a new alternator. The old one had gone haywire and shorted out both my headlamps, and the air cond compressor. Swap back old spark plugs, the coil is not generating enough "power" to light the golden lodges. Might look for CDI for 2t, anyone spot them about? Last but not least, got some cool green tints. xD
