Hello, I was wondering whether a car I used to work on still exists. It was a Celica ST, reg URD474S, that a good friend of mine used to do 400 miles a week in in the early/mid 90's. Sundays consisted of desperately getting it roadworthy for the next weeks' 400 miles whilst nursing a hangover. Such heinous crimes as fitting oversills were commited in the constant battle to keep it's rusty hulk going. We eventually got another ST to strip for spares and the car was taken off the road for a full stripdown and proper rebuild. It never really got past the stripdown phase. When my friend went to Austraila in 1998 he offered the project to me for free, however to my lasting regret, I let it go as I had nowhere to keep it and had also a Westfield to feed. I believe it was taken off his hands by some enthusiasts for restoration. He lived in Witney, Oxon at the time. Below is the only photos I have of it, it's rear in front of the Westfield plus a photo of the spares car being jacked onto it's side so we could get the running gear off. I still fancy doing one as a project as I grew rather fond of it over the years. Are there many still on the road ? Regards, Chris
