Help i own a celica on a 51 plate last year my heaters suddenly stopped working so i had the thermostat checked and changed still the same, i had a new water pump fitted, still the same. i had a new radiator fitted, still the same. i had the heater matrix removed and flushed thoroughly, still the same.i doesn't seem to be pumping water around the system even with the thermostat removed, i loose water through the expansion bottle in the way of steam from the overflow pipe not a great deal of water but enough to cause me concern and there is no pressure in the bottle. i also had the emissions checked to eliminate head gasket and they were clear of any contamination i flushed the system with fresh water under light pressure to clear any blockage and that was fine also. my temp guage rises suddenly then drops back to normal and the car seems to run fine but there is defiantly a problem can anyone please help

Was it a genuine Toyota Thermostat or one from a Motor Factors? Have you taken it to Toyota for a check up? Gen7's are well know to be a bugger to bleed the cooling system properly.
