This weeks AUTOCAR, the leading UK car magazine (cover date Nov. 30) has a detailed piece on the incoming new model Toyota sports coupe. While some think it will use the Celica name, it looks more likely to be FT or GT86. But of interest to Club members are the later pages, featuring past great Japanese coupes. Four Toyotas there, but not my favourite - the 205 series GT4. See what you think?

Will need to look at the supermarket newstands and pick up a copy. I assume at least one of there featured japanese coupes will be a 4A-GE powered car and RWD? ;D

Yes. The illustration they use is of a face lifted later model. Not too clear in the text, but they say the car is from the Toyota Heritage collection. I assume then from the small collection that we know TGB have. Auotocar getting quite classic Toyota friendly - a few weeks ago they were commending the last gen MR2 as a good budget sports car buy. Oh well, sooner or later they will appreciate a real Toyota sports car the Celica 205 GT4!
