Hello, I have a 1973 Toyota Corolla KE20 2-Door-Sedan 1200, 4-speed manual, european model. Does anyone know which version of the trunk emblem (Toyota script) is correct for this car? There seem to be two versions for KE20 Corollas of 1973: either (A) with a narrow bar in the middle through the characters or (B) with a broad bar at the bottom of the characters. For which years and which models were these versions used? Thanks for any information!

Hi 1973 was the second facelift year. What month was yours built - or if you don't know describe the rear lights to me or describe the front grille. If the rear lights are almost square and the front grille is meatl it is an early 73 car. If the rear lights are almost rectangular and the front grille is plastic (and tapered) it is a late model. An early model would have the bar through the middle of the lettering and a later one has the bar under the lettering. Hope this helps if not you can call me on 07878 911029, regards, Alan
