Hi all - having had British open top classics for many years I have decided to take the plunge and buy a little Japanese 'tin top' classic as I have always been interested in the nostalgic Japanese street car scene.
I was really looking for a TE27 Levin but that turned out to be something of a 'holy grail' to find as they don't change hands very often so have decided on a 1974 KE20 Coupe which took me over 3 months to find a good one. It had to be right hand drive so as to represent a true Japanese classic.
At only 1200cc it will be far slower than my V8 MGB that I am used to but I have plans for a 'period' engine swap (and all the other gubbins needed), some very subtle body mods and some nice wheels to finish it off.
I'll post some pictures when I have taken delivery of the car as I believe it might be known to members on the Forum here.

Yes that would be my wish but they are so rare in the UK I may have to go for a 4-AGE which are more plentiful here. I am also struggling to find suspension, brakes and driveshaft upgrade parts, but I do like a challenge.
