I'm trying to find out just how many Sunchaser's are left. If you know of any let me know. I know of 5. Out of that I know 4 are still on the road today. Debs

I seen 1 twice in the same summer (last year) once right on border area in Newry(co.Down) and Dundalk (co Louth) areas. And spotted it again at Kilbroney classic car show in Rostrevor Co.Down, i never got a chat with the owner either times she was in good order,it was a silver one. The only one ive ever seen or heard of in Ireland.

That's what I wanted to ask!!!!! I've got Richard's photo album of his TEC days with the Sunchaser which has a few photos of other Sunchasers. I've put the reg no's of these in the DVLA site and got details such as last owner change and last time taxed. I will post these details when I'm at home (using work computer at the mo). Is it OK to show full number plates of these on a public forum or does that go against any sort of Data Protection? We'll then play matching these cars to known survivors and try and track them down. Just imagine this summer having a get-together of all road-going Sunchasers. On a slight tangent, I talked with a guy who turned out to live about 10 miles from me who has an American spec LHD Sunchaser witl 2 litre engine and auto box. Not as rare as a UK car, but still counts in the survivor's list??? Discuss! Regards, Ian.

I wouldn't put all the number plate down as some people dont like that, I'm ok with showing mine as I like the attention my car gets, but any sunchaser would get the same looks ;D. Richard's sunchaser was the first one I saw and that was about 10yrs ago. I said there and then I wanted one but the other half told me to dream on. ;D Now I have one ;D ;D ;D

I assume you know of Richard's old 'MR X' car. It's pictured here at the 2005 Peterboro JAE in July. I was only there on Sat as I was doing an Ironman on Sun, I can't recall seeing it so I assume it was there Sun. www.toyotaenthusiasts.com/Shows/Shows.htm
