There like buses , bronze 22gt, don't see one for years then 2 turn up, well my bronze 22gt is back on the road after 25 years. Bought in 1993 lightly damaged , sat in a front garden with grass growing round it , that also applies to the other bronze gt just sold as it was satin a front garden for over 3 years about 20 years ago, Mine was nearly completely restored 2o years ago, but through too busy a life it sat in the garage with a cover over it. 2017 is a year of car action for me as all my old toyotas are getting fixed courtesy of BOB Clark. The 22gt was put back together and had a complete recommission, comprising, clutch slave and master , brake master, new cylinders, shoes and pads , track rod ends , bottom arms and water pump. it now has a new mot with no advisories. Now needs a good clean up and some remedial paintwork on the bonnet and boot and it will look as good as new. Drove it home from Bristol, and the old girl cruised happily at 55mph, but needs a good sort on the carbs for proper performance, however it will be at the shows this year . Next on the list is my white 22gt , which should make a show car.

It will be good to get some miles on it and get it running sweetly, feel some playing about with the engine coming on.
