Any tips on what to look at on an ms-65 rust areas? parts. etc... Any pics would be nice...

If only there was much choice of MS65's to pick holes in. Grab anything you can - in the UK!! Scottie's been trying for a while.
Unless, do you live down under Nelson?
Reverse gear is an old favourite to be duff on these cars - Toyoglide's that is.

Yes get in the queue please Lol !! normal bad points are sills and rear arches. Even though they are seperate chassis some mot testers will still fail them. The mechanicals are the worst part due to no parts availability, and, like Tony said the reverse gear bands on toyoglides are prone if the car has been sat for a while.
STILL LOOKING FOR ON MYSELF THOUGH IF ANYONE HAS ONE!!!!!

I just looked at the crown again. Some rust on the sills, rear arch front side..It hasn't run for a while already.. column shift, interior looks in great shape seats wise except for the rear seat tops sun cracked already... trim is pretty complete on it..

I take it your not in the uk unless it is an estate (ms63) you are looking at. What year is the car? All the saloons in the uk are floor change to my knowledge. any pics? Also I may have a pair of mirrors somewhere.

Your right i'm not in the UK. Its a 4 door saloon. 1971 i think..Autobox on it. Located in Canada. i'll try to snap some pics sometime when i get back to the car.
