Am I mad, I drove the TA22 out in a blizzard over the Campsie hills to Fintry in Scotland, what a day, I was driving sideways trying to keep the car in a straight line. Pics on gallery

I'll swap for a while. We had 42 celcius yesterday and when I drove up the north of West Australia to visit my brother for new year it was 46 in several towns along the 2600km round trip. Glad we took the subaru imprezza with aircon and cruise control fitted. Cheers Dave

Well done big Al - great pictures. In fact the TA22 on standard tyres is an excellent machine in snow. I managed to win a competitive Rally way back on Boxing day 2001 when the standard 185/70 -13 budget Kwik Fits on my 22GT were cutting through the snow and getting grip in the timed manoeuvering tests while the exotica like Impreza 22B sat spinning their big wide tyres on the snow. The LSD on the GT. helped too. Report and pics. in April 2002 Topics.
