Hi new member TinTin here. I am hopeless on forums, i never know how to start one off. I have a ta22? Or at least i think itis 1976 on a P plate. Had it 4 years finally got stuck in and now ready for paint. Will post pics as soon as. Slight problem. Car has no front suspension on as i stripped it to fit new shox and brakes etc. Problem is my local parts supplier Partco(unipart) have supplied inserts. But originals were sealed units i.e. complete leg. I stripped it down by removing the large hex nut and although the insert fits in, its too long and the nut isn't long enough to hold it down. Checked with suppliers and its only 1 listed. Demon tweeks say they list for september 75 on but not pre september 75. Anyone come across this or can help? Suggestions appreciated.

Sounds like as you say its a TA23 insert they have supplied you with which is longer than the earlier TA22 unit. I can measure a spare Koni insert for a 22 and give you a size. Should manage that over the weekend

Mmm sounds familiar, almost. The monroe inserts I used in my RA28 were a liitle too short! I packed them out with some penny washers to fit, but your problem a little trickier. AL
