I'm guessing you're a professional welder?

The welding around the rear screen is a very tricky job to do , the guys worth every penny by the look of his workmanship

Yes, this is the "wedding" car. Actually, only used once for a wedding but that's when the camera came out! There was very little rust evident on the rear window frame until the rear window was removed, although there was a small leak (not a good sign). But any car of that age (particularly Japanese ?) will need a new paint job & rust removed unless it's been stored in a vacuum. It's taking me a long time to clear out my packed garage (tons of stuff stored I'll never use), so I can bring here home safe & dry. TC

New paint already?! Great job! Wasn't there any rust anywhere else? (I was just thinking about my Corona which actually looked much better out but seems to be a far worse rust hole than your car)

Yes, rust on rear arches and doors & sills. Otherwise pretty good for a 1972 Toyota!

That's great! What are you planning to do with the engine?
Keep on posting the pictures!

The original 2600 engine runs fine, so staying as is.
I just need to get a Power Steering system.
Not proving easy!
