"Is it a Datsun ?" ...A chap came over to me at a Shell filling station on Sunday & asked. "Is that one of them old Datsuns ?" I replied, "No, it's a 1972 Toyota" "Oh", he responded, disappointedly., "Well, it looks like one of them old Datsuns" So, I think I'm beginning to except that, as far as the UK public are concerned, any old 1970s Japanese car IS a Datsun. It must be a generic term, like all vacuum cleaners are Hoovers. Anyone else come across this before ? Cheers, Tim Yes,both my Celica and Corona have been Datsuns.....they have also both been Mustangs too My Datsun is always a Datsun though
