Hi all Some of you will probably remember my car from several years ago as I went to the main tec show's. It started life with me as a red saloon , it was then hand sprayed ( with a lot of can's ) black. I bought it originally between 10 & 15 year's ago and have been keeping it on the road and doing a rolling restoration as it was my main ( and only ) car for about 8 of them. I picked up another Cressida at about the same time - a silver MX32 coupe - and another car for running about in. It was then that I started to fit some of the panels I had been gathering , a bootlid and rear panel , remade sill's , and a couple for the pass. rear quarter at the same time I found out how bad the ' slight bump ' that the rear wheelarch had had when I bought it. And to think my daughter had been seat belted to this. It took a fair while to get this sorted out and is now in primer. In the last 12 month's I have been slowly rebuilding another 4M to go in it , together with making a manifold to help it breathe better. I've been collecting the parts for atleast 5 years and it's had virtually everything renewed. It now has the exhaust on and wrapped. The tape isn't staying I've also got some wheels and been refirbing them as well As soon as I get the engine in I will be finishing the bodywork and getting it resprayed. Adam

Just thought I'd add some of the bit's and pieces that have been changed since I bought it.
When I got it it was a 2.0 ltr 3spd auto saloon , since then It's had -
A 2.6 ltr 4M - off a MS63 the engines got - electronic dissy and coil off a 5M - water pump off a 5M - electric fan - oil pressure gauge A 3spd + o/d - off a MS112 the rear axle off a RX60 ( later cressida ) rear adjustable air shocks Power steering complete - off a MS32 ( bought from Australia ) Electrically adjustable and heated front seats - off a ford Granada Full alarm also connected to electric central locking
Of coarse this doesn't include all the welding and panels that have been fitted and glass that's had to be replaced ( which is a right pain to try and locate ) and other sundries.
It's also got to be said that while keeping this on the road me and my dad have been restoring a couple of MS63's and working on about half a dozen other car's that belong to the family. Now the crown's are more or less finished ( we need a roof-lining for one of the estate's to finish ) and are both on the road now my caressed was next in line , and then my MS32 - not looking forward to this as it needs the bulkhead repairing/replacing
That's about it for now Adam

Hi Tc The only pics I've got at the moment ( due to computer ) are one of the MS63 pick-up conversion. It start life as 2.6 estate but after restoring the back end of the other estate we have decided we didn't want to do it again so ended up with this. The engine is now a 5ME 2.8 with the standard gearbox , the rear doors were cut down and do open , we built the back ourselves. The other MS63 is the same as this only a full estate ( in the same colour ) but has had the engine , efi , box , power steering and running gear from a MS112 fitted to it. The other pic is a Japanese home market MX32 Cressida Grande Hardtop ( coupe ) It's a 4M 2.6 auto , with air con. , power steering , electric windows which are framless - the back ones drop down as well leaving it all open , rear IRS axle , disc's all round , catalytic converter , check computer , all this as standard on a 1977 car. Unfortunately it needs the bulkhead and the boot lid repairing and general bodywork and paint especially as someone torched a car that was parked next to it. The coupe is next on the list after my RX ( providing nothing else turns up ). Adam
