I've got some old Mazda alloys for the Starlet (from a RX7 i think..) but they need a good polish to say the least. How's the best way to go about it? I've not had a crack at doing this before.

Hi When I was doing the alloy's for mine they had paint and clear lacquer on them but water had got in. I used nitromors to get everything off then started sanding using different grades until I was down 1500 grit then started with polishing mops and paste to get what I wanted. Along with paint on the back this is how they came out They are shinier than they look in the pic - nearly chrome like. I used a protective spray once I'd finished. Be prepared to put the time in , the shinier you want the longer it'll take. Adam

Cracking, cheers Adam. It's all a bit irrelavent now as they don't bloody fit! The pcd is off. Oh well, at least they were very cheap, ha!
