I am just curios to see how available are the P51 gearboxes in the UK. As far as I know they were only mated up against the early GT celicas and coronas. Later models had the W5x Cheers

Hello I dont know if anyone else has had problems getting gearboxes in general but the P 51 appears to be a very rare beast over here. Same as you when it comes to what they fitted it to GT etc but i cant find spares for them or even the box itself? You just have to keep an eye out for people clearing garges. I just managed to buy a P 51 for £50 off ebay it had just been stripped and cleaned up. ;D Here is another picture of my 28 going down the motorway taken by Arvi of the Celica-club,

Nice Picture, What I need is a picture when it is stationary Is it just the angle or does it look a little front high? The doors look really great, did you do the front spoiler and the flared guards as well? there is a guy here in OZ that does fibreglass bonnets and such but I have not heard very good reprots about the fit(not matching up and original curves not like they should be). Just a couple of questions about the p51 box, you said you got it off ebay how did you know it was a p51? Visually from the outside they look identicle to the W50. Cheers

The car is set up how a good rear wheel drive car should be high and hard at the front and low at the rear but there is a bit of illusion in the picture with the angle it is taken from. The picture below shows it a bit more balanced. How ever it is also full adjustable front suspension so if you wanted it lower no worries. When i can find a proper side picture i will post it up i have to many to sort through. As for the arches and spoiler, they are all one off constructions, the previous owner was quite good with fiber glass thats why i have all the door and boot molds. And as you can see from the picture the gaps are all quite good. The P51 i just picked up was stripped down so you could see the Porsche Type Syncro Hubs and a bit of trust in the first place and advice from River on Toymods Forum.

That is a much better picture. Yep River and his RA25, quite a unique car. I think what sets them off are the tail lights and lack of visible fuel filler. Now you have told me about your front suspension I need to know more, You dont have to reveal any secrets just let me know what it is. Cheers

Sorry for the delay in replying, the front suspension is a hybrid construction from the carina and a bit of engineering. It gives it the twin pot caliper etc. I will post a picture of the top when i can find one. You had any joy on a rear GT Badge yet they don't come up often here and when they do the price keeps creeping up.

Hi, no genuine gt badges yet, replica may have to do. A set of ra25 tail lights on ebay $499.00 US at the moment.I would love to get them but not at that price. Your carina brakes must be like the RT132 Coronas here, they have a twin piston caliper and are pretty much a straight swap. I have a set of them in the shed just waiting to get time to recon them before fitting. That was my bargain buy, rt132 corona with 18rgu $500 AUS. Cheers

That would be great. If you are chasing anything from over here just let me know and I will see what I can chase up but it seems like you guys have it better than us in certain car parts cheers
