There was one in jonesboro south armagh also was in bellurgan co louth woman owner actually rotted away before it was 10 years old, was crushed i think, i looked at it in 1986 but was too far gone to repair, it was yellow with the awful brown interior on S or T english plate.

Do you think this guy is a member? The reason i ask is that there looks like there are two ra28 tryng to get in on the photo.
I suppose it's hard to judge the value of this one, yes they are rare but with it being automatic and having the less desirable 18r engine in it it may not appeal to the majority of people. But hey that's just my two cents.

looks like the auto must have put bidders off,as Brae said certainly rare but also undesireable at the vendors "buy it now" price!

The way i read his description, he's owned the car over two years, yet has not got a registration document for it, would that not be the first thing you would sort out !, not leave it and try sell the car without it .

All the RA23 I have seen in the UK have chassis numbers from just one months production - November '76.
Assuming that all UK cars came from just that month and assuming that all the months production came to the UK, that would make around 330 examples, which seems to fit with the number of survivors, especially compared to other rarities such as the 22GT, which had similar import figures.
But, without official numbers, it's only an educated guess.
