The centre panel will have to do until I can find a genuine RA25 one. Now I amalso on the lookout for the interior trim for the rear as the new lights stick out further than the old ones and the RA28 plastic panel does not fit over them. Cheers

Thanks, not quite finished yet.I have a set of RT132 struts and twin spot calipers,24mm front sway bar, rear sway bar, to fit. I have changed out the webers for the original solex's just for the interim as the webers need rejetting and funds are getting tight. It also alows the original balance tube between the carbys to be refitted and gives me a much more stable vacuum signal to the dizzy. Cheers Dave

Since that first pic of the engine I have had the head off and replaced all the timing chains and slippers/guides. I could not get the webers to run very well as they were in need of rejetting so I have overhauled the solex's and fitted them. I could not decide which rocker cover to use, the chrome one or the black one or the red one. I have decided for the moment to have the black one. Its nice to have a choice (red, chrome, black). Its all running very sweet now and just a final tune should do it. I will be refitting the a/c compressor this week. Its the later style rotary one and fortunately I have the correct mounting bracket. I am also just about to fit a TRD replica front spoiler that I have had for a while. I was going to fit the twin pison calipers from a RT132 corona but have since managed to get hold of a set of 4 piston hilux calipers that will fit the solid rotors from the Rt132 so they will be fitted soon. Also i have picked up a set of Dragway mags, oldskool type. They will only be fitted for shows as I do not want to attract too much attention from our over ambitios boys in blue. I am looking into getting it all police passed but we have had a big crackdown on Hoons and modified cars here so I will wait untill thing cool down. hers the latest pics

Just thought I would put up a picture of my new number plates the WA is a prefix that shows the car is from West Australia. I am in the process of painting a trd replica front spoiler so the next update should have that fitted if all goes to plan I will also be hunting up some new inner high beam QH headlights so that they match the outers.

i have a heap of plans, I just wish i had some more money to do it all. I have most of what is required for the rt132 corona 2spot caliper front brake upgrade or even the hilux 4 spot caliper upgrade. i just need to source some new flexible brake lines. I have both types of calipers. rear sway bar to go on is still sitting in my shed. Mags, I have been trying a few sets of wheels that i have collected but the offset is way out. ma61 supra 14x7" too wide, old skool dragway four spokes that I have were worse as they stuck out over 1" from the front fenders. I want something oldskool but not too wide that I have to roll the guards. I still have plans to fit the ESP that was fitted to the US Gt spec cars. I have collected most of that stuff but i will have to make a seperate patch harness to get that sorted. LSD would be nice but they are scarce and expensive . I could go on and on but mainly just what will still keep it old skool and Toyota. cheers Dave
