As far as I remember, most UK Toyotas from about 1975> had three-point inertia-reel belts that were all quite similar. I'd imagine something from a Corolla, etc. would also fit, or even other maufacturers. (I remember my Dad stealing my old TA22 belts for his Sherpa van) Some of the late 70's cars like Corolla liftback had drop links at the top mount and were more comfortable to wearas they come around your should shoulder rather than across your neck if your're not that tall. I'd guess aftermarket belts are available for retro fitting; used a lot for camper van conversions and the like. It depends how fussy you are about originality. Does the TA27 have factory mounting points as standard? if not, that could make things more complicated. Al

im guessing you should have the mounts in the roof, can't imagine the roof panels being much different, in theory, there should be a few options. i think the cut off year is 1970 for 3 point seatbelts in the front, mine are both shot, non-inertia britax ones, and pretty nasty so if you find out anymore info please let us know, cause i need some too!

Hi you should be able to get some from this place, even though its australian. I purchased a brand new set with the drop links that were a perfect fit from them. They were for the TA22, www.seatbeltsolutions.com.auI fortunately live about 25kms from them and was able to check all of them out
